Sheldon has over 20 years of experience managing the mission, vision, and purpose of Revenue Cycle Management activities and processes for multi-integrated health networks in not-for-profit, for-profit, investor-owned, and international health systems. Sheldon’s contributions have been critical to various revenue cycle initiatives that improved over $300 million in reimbursements in several organizations. In addition, he constantly provided strong support in fulfilling the companies’ collection responsibilities for hospital and physician operations, meeting strategic goals, and exceeding company objectives. His prior positions focused on communicating a compelling and inspired vision and sense of core purpose to stakeholders of the organization; he talks beyond today, talks about possibilities, is optimistic, and creates mileposts and symbols to rally support behind the organizational vision. In addition, he has inspired and motivated Revenue Cycle cultures in organizations.

Sheldon has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Healthcare Administration. Both degrees were acquired at Wilmington University in Delaware. In August 2019, Sheldon completed his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) certification. He is a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) and a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (FHFMA). He has presented at industry conferences and groups nationwide for Beckers Healthcare, HFMA, AAHAM, NAHRI & ACHE, discussing the economic challenges & solutions in our healthcare environment.
